One person found this helpful. Plan Option: Super Box. I got my first box very happy with it and only would like to have the flash and teenage mutant ninja turtles added to the choices. Received some pretty awesome comic books, which I was not expecting. Can\’t wait to see what is in next month\’s box. I get to choose my superheroes, but they don\’t curate completely to your choices.

They include comics not in your choices. This is the only disappointment. I guess they have titles they need to get rid of because of overabundance, and high demand titles may be scarce. Old comics from \’80s and \’90s included in my box, although most are newer. Some thick books too. I don\’t buy new comics, so mystery boxes are my choice for surprises and value. Purely for reading, not collecting and investing.

Great selection of comics gets sent based on what you pick! Changed from 2 to 1 star and cancelled. I really do commend these guys for finding a way to make lots of money off of something worth practically nothing.

On the second box, I wouldn\’t have paid anything for these. It just confirms my suspicion that these guys are charging a lot of money to off-load comics that don\’t normally sell. I got an email saying that they are sorry and that I can manage what goes into my box via selecting preferences My preference doesn\’t change and I guess neither does your quality.

As for another thing, they way they are shipped are pretty poor where you can tell they don\’t really care about the comics, just to make a quick buck. There\’s better ways to ship than what you guys do where all comics are damaged by the time they arrive. My suggestions are as follows: if you like your money, the buy a digital comics subscription or support your local comic store.

With this amount of money, you could buy someone a new game console or something. Second, the mystery boxes on Ebay seem to be way better than this. Lastly, if you\’re cool with this stuff, good on ya and I won\’t try to convince you otherwise, but if you\’re a true collector looking for a decent rando box, stay far away because what they send is just expensive toilet paper. This type of thing has to wow me or least make me think \”neat\” with at least one thing per box or it just isn\’t worth it.
