I did that by adding a ping to an unknown adress with a 30s delay. Therefore the batch must be: ping 1.

If you do not build this delay, it does not work! You can also add the following line at the end of the batch to get a sound when it is loaded: sndrec That way, it works perfect for me now in Windows 7 and XP.

I did not tried yet. But now, as soon as I start the PC, the printer will systematically be found by the Ipad. Small precision for my solution with the task scheduler: When you configure the scheduler, you need to untick everything in the tab where there is the Energie Management otherwise the task does not run if your PC is on battery….

Missing link was going to windows firewall and allow airprint. Finally, a solution for us to print to practically any brand of printers. I found the files on this site just like you, then I went and made an installer for them to help out. I have been trying to get this to work with my iPad. Always No printers found. I am using Windows 7 bit. The version of Bonjour that was installed with iTunes 4. I unistalled it and installed the bit windows version, so now I have a printer wizard in Bonjour and I can see all my networked printers.

I do not see anything in Bonjour about aharing printers. I have the AirPrint and Bonjour services installed and running. I am using the Firewall in Norton and I have set an exception for both in the firewall.

I have even turned the firewall off just to see if that would work. My iPad cannt find the printers. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. I do have AirPrint installed in Program Files x You have to share the printer. Go into control panel, printers, and look at the properties of the printer. I get that too! I can print just fine after install but when I reboot it doies not print.

I can see the printer on the ipad and i tell it to print and it just sits there for hours, spinning. The only way i can get to to start printing again after a reboot is to restart the service….
