Am a bit confused as to what to do. Office is operating as 32 bit. Would like to change to 64 bit. What do I do? What i am aiming to do is, as part of the x86 to x64 conversion process, uninstall the x86 version of TEAMS which was installed by MSI , and let O reinstall x64 bit version of Office and Teams together. This will only happen to handful of users.. However, i would like to know what is the correct method of the uninstall, so i can script this.

I will use SCCM to deploy this. Is this correct? If i remove these folders, then do i lose chat history? I would like to retain the chat history if possible. So once the x64 conversion is done, in theory i just need to logoff and relogin with the user, and TEAMS x64 should reinstall to the users profile.

Question 2. No, the chat history is saved in user\’s Exchange Online mailbox. So, don\’t worry about it. If my suggestion helps, please feel free to accept it as answer to benefit people with the same doubt.
